It’s late in the season – but the season isn’t over yet. It’s the rare occasion to raft on Goodwin Canyon – as it is rafted only on a few select days in the fall.
It is a little bit different from the rafting trips I have organized in the past – as it is only a one-day trip: the river run is relatively short (4 miles) – so we will do the whole thing twice in a day.
- When: October 20, 2018
- Where: Goodwin Canyon (~ 110 miles east of here, a good two hours’ drive)
- Cost: $210 incl. fees and lunch (if we have enough people we might get a group discount).
- Prerequisites: You need to have a sense of adventure, you need to be able to swim.
- Previous rafting experience is not necessary as long as you are willing to work hard and quickly follow the guide’s commands. The river is rated as class III to IV+
