BayLands Made the Migration!

Yes, it was uphill the entire way—but our new digital home is officially up and running.

We made it!

Some migrations are graceful seasonal journeys. Ours felt more like moving an entire clubhouse across a mountain range—on foot, in the rain, with every mile somehow uphill.

Along the way, we crossed the DNS Divide, scrambled over Password Reset Pass, navigated the Waiver Wilderness, and carefully shepherded memberships, renewals, profiles, photos, and more to their new home. There were false summits, surprise switchbacks, and a few trail signs that seemed to point in both directions. But we kept moving.

A little help on the trail

A very special thank-you goes to Haris, Brian, Surajit, and Mike B. for helping us scout the trail, test the route, and spot the occasional loose rock before the rest of the pack arrived. Their help—and the patience and good humor of all our members—made reaching the finish possible.

The new BayLands website is live, memberships have made the crossing, and the view from this side of the mountain is looking pretty good.

What should you do now?

Take a look around! Log in, visit My Subscriptions, check your member profile and directory preferences, and explore the new site. If you spot something that needs attention, please let us know.

The site is still under construction, so think of this as reaching base camp—not building the final lodge. More improvements, new content, and a few scenic overlooks are still ahead.

Thank you for making the trek with us. We’re delighted that the whole club has finally arrived—muddy shoes, passwords, waivers, and all.
